The family and friends of Phillip Lawton Karcher who passed away  on  May 16, 2013. Memorial Service will be on May 25, 2013 at 10 am in the Chapel of First Baptist Pasadena.

Travis & Gina  McGee  and family in the death of his grandfather, Travis McGee in Kingsville, TX   on May 8, 2013.

Scott & Tracy Brown and family in the death of his mother, Helen Brown, in New Mexico on May 11, 2013.  

The family of Verna Riley who went home to be with Jesus on May 1, 2013.

Billie & Melvin Hurst and family in the death of her sister, Doris Stadler on May 3, 2013. 
Linda Lane and family on the loss of her son, Thomas "Bert" Lane on May 4, 2013. Service will be Thursday, May 9, at 3 pm at Grand View Funeral Home.
The family and friends of Stanley Oakes who passed away May 4, 2013. Service will be Thurs. May 9 at 4 pm in the Worship Center of First Baptist Church Pasadena.  
Beth & Dick Branson and family in the death of her brother, O.J. Abshire on May 4, 2013. Memorial service on May 18, 2013 at Grand View.

Steve & Renee Robson and family in the death of Steve's uncle, Dick Lashier in Iowa.

 

 

 

Prayer First

Prayer is one of the core values at First Baptist Church.  We do not want to simply be a church with a prayer ministry, but a praying church.  We are dedicated to a life of prayer because it aligns us with God's will and unleashes the Spirit's work in and through us.  Our goal, through Prayer First, is to pray for requests from our church, from our surrounding community, and from around the world. 
 
We have a team of dedicated people who pray regularly for our leadership, our troops, and for special requests that are received at First Baptist Church.  These requests are received from our Prayer First web page, prayer request forms, and phone calls to the church office.
