The Instrumental Ensemble ministry consists of brass choirs, woodwind choirs, and various other combinations of instruments in all types of ensembles. The ensemble ministry is open to all members of the Sanctuary Orchestra and the Salt and Light Orchestra.
Ensembles play in worship services as well as in the community bringing worship through music to organizations and living facilities in an effort to "reach-out" to our world with the healing message of Jesus Christ.
The largest ensemble is the "Praise Band." The Praise Band meets on Wednesday nights after Sanctuary Orchestra rehearsal, and is made up of all instruments with the exception of strings. The Praise Band plays many times throughout the year, not only leading in worship, but playing in special programs such as the 4th of July outdoor family celebration, the Widow's Banquet, and other church-wide activities.
