The primary ministry of the Sanctuary Orchestra is to glorify God by reaching up to Him through worship, reaching out to the lost and hurting with the healing message of Christ, and reaching in to our orchestra family with love.
The Sanctuary Orchestra leads in worship by providing special music and supports the Sanctuary Choir every Sunday during worship.

The Sanctuary Orchestra of First Baptist Church, Pasadena, is a full symphonic orchestra made up of woodwinds, brass, strings and percussion. Membership in the orchestra includes adults of all ages, but students must be in at least the 11th grade. The orchestra rehearses twice weekly. Rehearsals are Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 7:50 p.m., and at 8:45 a.m. before the first Worship Service on Sunday mornings. Childcare is provided for all rehearsals.
